PAUL (PAVLO) DWOLINSKY Peacefully following a lengthy illness, Paul, beloved husband, uncle and brother, passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on Tuesday, August 10, 2004. Paul was predeceased by his sister Maria, and brothers Bohdan and Evan. Paul was born in 1919 in Ukraine. He came to Canada in 1948 with his wife Kalyna. Soon after arriving in Canada, Paul began working for the City of Winnipeg as a labourer, thereafter taking a position as Foreman. Paul served for 34 years for the city until his retirement in 1984. Paul will be greatly missed by his loving family, wife Kalyna; niece Luba (Ted) Kies; daughter Svitlana; and nephew Yuriy (Katrina) Dwolinsky. Also to mourn his passing are sister Hanna; and brothers, Simon and Michael; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Over the years throughout Pauls life, he went out of his way the best he could to help many family and friends for a better life and future. With all of our love, we will miss you Uncle Paul. Prayers will be said on Thursday, August 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 13 at 2:00 p.m. also at the chapel. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
